Morning News

Futures are pointing to a very weak open this morning.

European markets are trading lower today.

In Tokyo the Nikkei 225 did end lower.

Crude oil has pulled back to $87.68 per barrel.

Wholesale gasoline is $2.13 per gallon.

Natural gas sitting just above $7.00 per unit.

Gold pulling back to $7.55 per ounce.

On Friday the markets took a hit with the Dow losing 366 points the Nasdaq gave back 74 points and the S&P 500 lost 39 points.

The Lundberg survey of gas stations around the country shows that gas prices have risen nearly 5 cents over the past two weeks.

Merck& Company, Texas Instruments, Apple Inc, and American Express just a few of the companies set to report earnings.

Bear Stearns and Citic Securities to invest in each other.

Microsoft to cut the price of its Xbox 360 in Japan.

Toyota sells 2.34 million vehicles July through September.

In MLB baseball action last night the Boston Red Sox won game 7 11-2 over the Cleveland Indians they will now face the Colorado Rockies in the World Series.
