Futures are pointing to a lower open this morning.

European markets are trading lower so far today.

In Tokyo the Nikkei 225 did end higher.

Crude oil is just above $87.00 per barrel.

Wholesale gasoline is $2.14 per gallon.

Natural gas is currently $7.41 per unit.

Gold sitting right at $763.00 per ounce.

Weekly jobless claims numbers will be out at 8:30 this morning.

September leading indicators will be released at 10:00 this morning.

The Energy Dept. will release natural gas inventories at 10:30 this morning.

SEC has opened an investigation into the stock sales by Countrywide CEO.

Big expectations for Google Inc. today as the company is ready to announce earnings results.

Bank of America's latest quarter comes in well below expectations.

Sony to sell advanced computer chip department to Toshiba.

Dept. of Energy latest numbers on coal fired power plants shows that 16 have either been delayed or cancelled all together.
