Futures are pointing to a slightly higher open this morning.

European markets are trading higher so far today.

In Tokyo the Nikkei 225 did end higher.

Crude oil is $71.00 per barrel.

Wholesale gasoline is $1.96 per gallon.

Natural gas is sitting at $6.50 per unit.

Gold is currently $667.00 per ounce.

Leading indicators for the month of July will be released at 10:00 this morning.

Nasdaq Stock Exchange reportedly looking to sell 31% stake in London Stock Exchange.

Lowe's is set to report earnings here before the bell this morning.

Microsoft has cut the price of its Xbox gaming system in Europe.

First Solar Inc. has been upgraded to a buy from a hold at Deutshe Bank this morning.

Countrywide Financial has begun layoffs of workers.

Mine officials in Utah now saying there is a good chance the six miners trapped in the mountain may never be found.
