Morning News

Futures are pointing to a higher open this morning.

European markets are trading higher today.

In Tokyo the Nikkei 225 did end higher.

Crude oil is down to $72.11 per barrel.

Wholesale gasoline has pulled back to $1.93 per gallon.

Natural gas is sitting at $6.20 per unit.

Gold is $682.00 per ounce.

Wholesale inventories for the month of June will be released at 10:00 this morning.

The Energy Dept. will release weekly oil inventory levels at 10:30 this morning.

The Fed leaves interest rates unchanged while inflation remains its top concern.

Cisco Systems reports a 25% jump in profit, and the company is lifting long term revenue forcast.

Toll Brothers reports a 21% drop in revenue.

Apple Inc. out with new line of iMacs.

Berkshire Hathaway has bought another 1.62 million shares of Burlington Northern Santa Fe. This brings the companies total stake in the company to just over 11%.

In sports last night Barry Bonds did set the all time home run record with number 756.
