Futures are pointing to a flat to slightly lower open this morning.

European markets are trading slightly higher today.

In Tokyo the Nikkei 225 did end lower.

Crude oil is $75.18 per barrel.

Wholesale gasoline is $2.08 per gallon.

Natural gas remains below $6.00 per unit.

Gold pulling back to $662.00 per ounce.

At 8:30 this morning second quarter gross domestic product will be released.

University of Michigan's pole on consumer sentiment for July will be released just after the open this morning.

Housing data, weak home builders results, and delay in loan deals all lead to over a 300 point loss on the Dow yesterday.

Medtronic to buy Kyphon Inc. for $3.9 billion.

Cadbury Schweppes to delay sale of its beverage unit due to potential problems with buyers securing funding.

Amgen Inc. reports better than expected quarter.

Ford Motor Company reports first quarterly profit since 2005.
