Morning News

Futures are pointing to a flat to alightly lower open this morning.

European market are trading higher today.

In Tokyo the Nikkei 225 did end higher.

Crude oil moving up to $69.33 per barrel.

Wholesale gasoline has moved up to $2.27 per gallon.

Natural gas sitting back above $7.00 per unit.

Gold is currently $648.00 per ounce.

Weekly jobless claims will be released at 8:30 this morning.

1st quarter gross domestic product will be out before the market open this morning.

Federal Open Market Committee will release a statement just after 2:00 this afternoon. Expectations call for no change to interest rates.

Intel Corp. upgraded to overweight at Lehman Brothers this morning.

Research In Motion, and Palm Inc. a couple of the companies set to release earnings this morning.

Michael Rand Chief Accounting Officer at Beazer Homes has been fired for attemting to destroy documents.

Playboy to open huge mansion at gambling resort in Macau.
