Morning News

Futures are pointing to a slightly lower open this morning.

European markets are trading just a bit lower so far today.

In Tokyo the Nikkei 225 did end higher.

Crude oil is sitting just above $69.00 per barrel.

Wholesale gasoline is $2.25 per gallon.

Natural gas is $7.68 per unit.

Gold is sitting at $658.00 per ounce.

Retail chain index will be released at 7:45 this morning.

May housing starts will be released at 8:30 this morning.

Building permits for the month of May will also be released at 8:30 this morning.

The dollar has reached a 41/2 year high against the Yen.

Current CEO of Yahoo Inc. stepping down and will be replaced by Jerry Yang.

Wendy's International Inc. warning that profits for the year will come in below expectations.

Delta Airlines in the middle of talks with Boeing to buy a large order of jets in a long term deal.
