Morning News

Futures are pointing to a lower open this morning.

European markets are trading to the downside so far today.

In Tokyo the Nikkei 225 did end lower.

Crude oil dipped down to $63.35 per barrel.

Wholesale gasoline also pulled back a bit yesterday to $2.29 per gallon.

Natural gas is currently $7.75 per unit.

Gold sitting just above $660.00 per ounce.

FOMC will release minutes from its latest meeting at 2:00 this afternoon.

Energy Dept. will release inventory numbers on Thursday this week due to off day on Monday.

China to triple tax on stock trades.

Microsoft Corp. plans to release table top touch computer for use at casinos and hotels.

Pulte Homes Inc. to slash up to 16% of its work force.

Robert Zoellick looks to be the choice by the White House to lead the World Bank.

International Business Machines buys back $12.5 billion worth of stock or about 8%
