Morning News

Futures are pointing to a slightly higher open this morning.

European markets are mixed at this point.

In Tokyo the Nikkei 225 did end higher.

Crude oil is currently $64.30 per barrel.

Wholesale gasoline is $2.38 per gallon.

Natural gas is $7.54 per unit.

Gold up just a bit to $658.00 per ounce.

Royal Bank of Scotland group launches offer for ABN Amro for $95.5 billion.

Federal Trade Commission to begin antitrust probe into $3 billion deal between Google and DoubleClick.

Reports are out that BMW could be a buyer of Ford's Volvo unit.

Toshiba to begin using Advanced Micro Devices chips in its computers.

Pirates of The Caribbean At Worlds End takes in $142.1 million over the weekend.
