University of Michigan final consumer confidence poll will also be released this morning.

European markets are trading lower so far today.

In Tokyo the Nikkei 225 did end the day lower.

Baidu.com easily beats the street reporting quarterly earnings that doubled.

Microsoft Corp. reports a 65% profit rise which was better than expectations on strong Vista sales.

Boeing has recieved 84 orders this week for aircraft.


Bank of Japan leaves interest rates unchanged.

Edward Whitacre AT&T CEO will recieve a pension worth $158.5 million when he retires.

Democratic hopefuls squared off last night in the first debate of the 2008 campaign.

Crude oil is $65.00 per barrel.

Wholesale gasoline remains high at $2.29 per gallon.

Natural gas is currently $7.60 per unit.

Gold falling to $675.00 per ounce.
