Morning News

Futures have turned around this morning currently pointing to a slightly higher open.

European markets are trading to the downside so far today.

In Tokyo the Nikkei 225 did end just a tick higher.

AstraZeneca to pay $15.6 billion for Medimmune Inc.

ABN Amro agrees to Barclays deal worth a reported $91.2 billion.

British Airways reportedly may team up with private investors to make a bid for Iberia Airlines.

Research In Motion to launce new software which will allow use of some of its functions on non-BlackBerry devices.

The Lundberg Survey shows a rise of 8 cents over the past two weeks for a gallon of gasoline. The national average is now $2.87 per gallon.

Crude oil is $64.29 per barrel.

Wholesale gasoline is $2.14 per gallon.

Natural gas is currently $7.28 per unit.

Gold is $695.00 per ounce.
