Morning News

Futures are taking a hit this morning pointing to a much lower open.

February durable goods orders will be released at 8:30 this morning.

February consumer confidence will be released at 10:00 this morning.

January existing home sales set to be released at 10:00 this morning as well.

European markets are taking a hit so far today.

In Tokyo the Nikkei 225 did end the day lower.

Iran's foreign minister reportedly has said his country will not stop uranium enrichment program ever again.

The U.S. dollar reaches two month low against the euro.

Wal Mart Stores Inc. reportedly will buy 35% stake in Trust Mart. Trust Mart operates a chain of hypermarkets in China.

AB Volvo reportedly will buy road development division from Ingersoll Rand for $1.3 billion.

Toyota Motor to spend $830 million to build vehicle assembly plant in Mississippi.

People will have to wait till mid March according to Apple Computer for its highly anticipated release of Apple TV.

Crude oil is currently $61.45 per barrel.

Wholesale gasoline is $1.78 per gallon.

Natural gas is $7.68 per unit.

Gold down just a bit to $686.00 per ounce.
