Futures are pointing to a flat to slightly higher open this morning.

December durable goods orders will be released at 8:30 this morning.

At 10:00 this morning new home sales figures for December will be released.

European markets are trading to the downside today.

In Tokyo the Nikkei 225 did end the day lower.

General Motors to delay quarterly report and restate past results. This comes just after Ford ended its worst year ever with a $5.8 billion quarterly loss.

SEC formally probing KB Home over stock option grants.

Microsoft's Vista delay hurts profit, but the company still topped expectations.

Series of strikes set to take place next week at British Airways.

News Corp. looking to establish Chinese version of MySpace.com

Crude oil holding above $54.00 per barrel.

Wholesale gasoline is $1.45 per gallon.

Natural gas just below $7.00 per unit.

Gold down just a bit to $644.00 per ounce.
