Morning News

Futures are up this morning pointing to a higher open.

Energy Dept. will release oil inventories at 10:30 this morning.

European markets are trading to the upside today.

In Tokyo the Nikkei 225 did end the day higher.

President Bush spoke about the war strategy in Iraq, alternative fuels, taxes, and affordable health insurance last night before congress.

Yahoo Inc. profit declines 61% sales were up 13% and the company announcing its new search ad technology will be ready sooner than expected.

Advanced Micro Devices post fourth quarter loss shares drop in after hours trading last night.

Sun Microsystems shares rising in after hours trading last night after topping expectations.

Lowe's Companies to expand into Mexico with 3 to 5 stores by 2009.

Crude oil just ripped yesterday backing off just a bit this morning to $54.55 per barrel.

Wholesale gasoline is $1.43 per gallon.

Natural gas $7.42 per unit.

Gold up yesterday down just a bit this morning to $644.50 per ounce.
