Morning News

  • Futures are pointing to a flat to slightly lower open this morning.

European markets are trading to the downside this morning. In Tokyo the Nikkei 225 did end the day higher.

Federal Open Market Committee will be meeting for two days. All expectations call for no change in interest rates.

Wal Mart Stores Inc. will be holding analyst meeting today.

The Lundberg Survey of 7,000 gas stations shows on average the price of gasoline did drop about 8 cents over the past two weeks.

YouTube deletes 30,000 files due to a complaint by a Japanese group. The entertainment group claiming copyright infringement.

Ripplewood Holdings reportedly preparing a bid for Delphi Corp.
