Goldman adds Cisco to conviction buy list
Oct 31 (Reuters) - Goldman Sachs on Tuesday added Cisco Systems Inc. (CSCO.O: Quote, Profile, Research) to its Americas Conviction Buy List and removed Ciena Corp. (CIEN.O: Quote, Profile, Research) from the list.
In a research note, the brokerage said Cisco expects to gain share in the routing market from major competitors over the next two years on the back of new product introductions.
Goldman said it removed Ciena from the list to make a short term call on Cisco and this move in no way reflects a view on Ciena's quarter. (Reporting by Supriya Kurane in Bangalore)
