  • Futures are pointing to a lower open this morning.
  • Existing home sales will be released at 10:00 this morning.
  • The Energy Dept. will release oil inventories at 10:30.
  • European markets are trading just a bit lower today. The Nikkei 225 experienced a small decline in Tokyo.
  • National Semiconductor lowers its quarterly sales target.
  • BHP Billiton post inline earnings, and a $3 billion stock buyback.
  • KB Home announcing the company is reviewing stock option grants given to the company CEO.
  • U.S. Marine Corps. to order troops to active duty. This is the first involuntary call up of troops since the war in Iraq began.
  • Crude oil pulling back a bit this morning to $72.40 per barrel.
  • Wholesale gasoline is $1.92 per gallon.
  • Natural gas back up to just over $7.00 per unit.
  • Gold currently $635.00 per ounce.
