  • Futures are pointing to a slightly lower open this morning.
  • Preliminary consumer sentiment for August to be released at 9:45 this morning.
  • European markets trading slightly higher this morning. The Nikkei 225 ended the day higher in Tokyo.
  • Dell Computer released earnings after the bell last night. The company also announced its under informal investigation for accounting issues.
  • Ford Motor Company reportedly looking to cut more jobs, and close more facilities.
  • Tivo Inc. recieves favorable ruling in case against Echostar. A judge ruled Echostar can not make or offer video recorder products in the U.S The company will also have to pay Tivo $89.6 million.
  • Boeing Company recieves order for 6 aircraft with an option to buy four more from Monarch Airlines. The deal reportedly worth $916 million.
  • Big tobacco granted favorable decision in court ruling.
  • Lucas Glover, and Chris Riley share the lead after the first round of the PGA Championship.
  • Crude oil moving up this morning. Current price is $70.91 per barrel.
  • Wholesale gasoline is $1.96 per gallon.
  • Natural gas down to $6.64 per unit.
  • Gold has pulled back to $625.00 per ounce.
