Morning News

  • Futures are pointing to a lower open this morning with all that terror news coming out of London.
  • Weekly jobless claims will be released at 8:30 this morning.
  • June trade deficit figures will also be released at 8:30 this morning.
  • Energy Dept. will release natural gas inventories at 10:30 this morning.
  • European markets are trading lower today. In Tokyo the Nikkei 225 saw a small decline.
  • 21 people in custody in plot to blow up airplanes flying from the U.K. to the United States. Explosives were to be suggled on planes in carry on bags. In response the United States has lifted the threat level for all flights from the U.K.
  • Reportedly Israel willing to hault new ground attacks until the weekend in an effort to give a cease fire another chance.
  • XM Satellite Radio lands deal to deliver its channels to Alltel cell phones.
  • Crude oil is a bit lower this morning current price is $75.47 per barrel.
  • Wholesale gasoline is $2.12 per gallon.
  • Natural gas is $7.50 per unit.
  • Gold right at $660.00 per ounce.
