  • Futures are pointing to a flat to slightly higher open this morning.
  • July consumer confidence to be released at 10:00 this morning.
  • Existing home sales will also be released this morning.
  • European stock markets are trading higher today. The Nikkei 225 ended the day up 1.4%
  • BP reports 30% rise in profit on oil prices and refinery operations.
  • Japan expected to approve imports of U.S. beef this week.
  • In California record usage of electricity being reported on high temps. No relief today while temps. expected to be avove 100 degrees again.
  • Crude oil moving higher again current price is $75.38 per barrel.
  • Wholesale gasoline on the rise as well price is $2.32 per gallon.
  • Natural gas is currently $6.71 per unit.
  • Gold moving up a bit to $622.00 per ounce.
