  • Comcast Corp. in talks to buy remaining 40% stake of Entertainment Television Inc. from the Walt Disney Co.
  • FDA Panel rejects Eli Lilly Companies cancer drug Gemzar for the treatment in advanced ovarian cancer.
  • International Energy Agency lowers it's world demand for oil by 16% due to high oil product prices.
  • Procter & Gamble expects sales growth to come in at 5% to 6% which is at the low end of previous forcast.
  • Google Inc. and Volkswagon reportedly developing a navigation system.
  • Anheuser Busch Inc. to be the U.S. importer of Asia Pacific Breweries brand Tiger Beer. The stock has been upgraded this morning at Bear Stearns.
  • U.S Agriculture Dept. has confirmed a case of Mad Cow Disease on a farm in Alabama.
  • Crude Oil is $61.62 per barrel.
  • Wholesale Gasoline is $1.76 per gallon.
  • Natural Gas has moved up just a bit to just over $7.00 per unit.
  • Gold down this morning to $544.00 per ounce.
