Morning News

  • Futures are up just a bit this morning we could see a slightly higher open.
  • January Durable Goods numbers to be released today.
  • H & R Block got it's own taxes wrong and will be restating earnings for 2004, and 2005.
  • Research In Motion waiting a federal judges decision to whether it's service will be suspended. The company has stated it does have a work around if this does occur. This decision may come by early next week.
  • Bush administration and Dubai Ports World are open to delaying the company taking over operations of five U.S. ports.
  • Gap Inc. fourth quarter profit drops 11% and the companies earnings forcast fall well short of analyst expectations.
  • Crude Oil on the move this morning currently $61.60 per barrel.
  • Wholesale Gasoline also up this morning to $1.54 per gallon.
  • Natural Gas is $7.42 per unit.
  • Gold is up just a bit this morning to $553.50 per ounce.
