Morning News

  • Futures are down this morning pointing to a lower open.
  • Weekly Oil Inventories to be released this morning.
  • Commerce dept. to release International Trade Report this morning.
  • FPL Group Inc. is in merger talks with Constellation Energy Group.
  • Boeing wins contract from Australian Airline Qantas. The initial order is for 65 planes at a price of about $7.5 billion.
  • Novelo Inc. reporting it has gotten FDA approval for a Phase 3 trial of Alfimephase ant- blood clot treatment.
  • Crude Oil remains above $60.00 a barrel currently $61.42 per barrel.
  • Wholesale Gasoline is $1.64 per gallon.
  • Natural Gas has pulled back just a bit to $15.20 per unit.
  • Gold has also pulled back to $515.00 per ounce.
