Morning News

  • Futures are on the flat side once again this morning we could see a slightly lower open.
  • CBS and NBC going to offer replays of it's prime time shows for 99 cents. CBS is teaming up with Comcast Corp. and NBC with Direct TV.
  • Entering second day of the Bird Flu summit in Geneva. There is news out that a 35 year old man in Vietnam has died of the Bird Flu.
  • International Business Machines Corp. (IBM) to buy privately held Software Firm Networks Solutions.
  • Northewest Airlines (NWAC) has reached tentative deal with it's pilots and flight attendants.
  • Carl Icahn disclosed he and affiliates control 9.3% stake in Fairmont Hotels and Resorts Inc.
  • Crude remains below 60 bucks currently $59.19 per barrel.
  • Wholesale Gasoline continues to pull back as well now $1.55 per gallon.
  • Natural Gas pulling back on warmer than usual temps. currently $11.72 per unit.
  • Gold is currently $458.60 per ounce.
