Morning News

  • Futures are flat this morning pointing to a slightly lower open.
  • Weekly Oil Inventories will be released at 10:30 this morning.
  • October Challenger Layoffs also this morning.
  • Time Warner Inc. (TWX) has raised it's stock repurchase program to $12.5 billion from $5 billion. The company reported strong earnings this morning as well.
  • 1,500 machinist for Boeing went on strike last night. The strike expected to affect the companies satellite launch facilities in California and Florida.
  • Nokia to launch three new multimedia phones with the capability to watch TV, play music, and swap content.
  • Cablevision Systems Corp. it's board has approved a $3 billion special dividend.
  • Crude Oil remains just under $60.00 per barrel.
  • Wholesale Gasoline is currently $1.59 per gallon.
  • Natural Gas continues to slide currently $11.70 per unit.
  • Gold is up just a bit this morning to $462.30 per ounce.
