Eye On Stocks For Monday, Nov. 7

Reinsurance giant Berkshire Hathaway reported third-quarter profit below expectations, according to financial information filed with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission. The company reported quarterly revenue of $20.33 billion, 7% higher than the year-ago quarter. Earnings came in at $381 per Class A share, well below the $1,006 estimate by the lone analyst polled by Thomson First Call, Credit Suisse First Boston's Charles Gates.
