ANF Q3 earnings rise
LOS ANGELES (Reuters) - Abercrombie & Fitch Co (NYSE:ANF - News) said on Tuesday its quarterly earnings climbed on strong sales of its teen-oriented clothing.
Net income for the third quarter rose to $71.6 million, or 79 cents per share, from $39.9 million, or 42 cents per share, in the year-ago period.
Excluding a one-time charge, the company earned 88 cents a share. On that basis, Wall Street analysts on average forecast earnings of 80 cents per share, according to Reuters Estimates.
