Morning News

  • Futures are down just a bit this morning we could see a slightly lower open.
  • September Durable Goods report this morning.
  • Weekly Jobless Claims also to be released today.
  • September New Home Sales report will be released today as well.
  • Natural Gas supplies will be released today.
  • SEC Subpoenas General Motors Corp. The SEC looking into the companies pension obligations as well as it's dealings with Delphi Corp.
  • Roche is halting it's influenza drug Tamiflu here in the United States. Bird Flu concerns have resulted in companies and medical offices loading up on the drug. It is not even known if the drug Tamiflu would even be effective against the Bird Flu if needed.
  • Crude Oil is currently $61.39 per barrel.
  • Wholesale Gasoline is $1.60 per gallon.
  • Natural Gas remains just above $14.00 per unit.
  • Gold is up this morning current price is $475.40 per ounce.
