  • Tropical Storm Wilma in the western Caribbean Sea. Forcasters are calling for the storm to enter the Gulf of Mexico later in the week as a hurricane.
  • General Motors reportedly getting closer to a deal with United Auto Workers Union to cut health care cost. An announcement could come as early as this morning when the company reports earnings.
  • ST. Jude Medical (STJ) to pay $1.3 billion for Advanced Neuromodulation Systems Inc. (ANSI)
  • J.C Flowers reportedly willing to pay $1 billion for Refco Inc. (RFX)
  • Crude Oil on the rise currently $64.05 per barrel.
  • Wholesale Gasoline also up a bit to $1.81 per gallon.
  • Natural Gas $13.90 per unit.
  • Gold is up this morning currently $474.70 per ounce.
