(The Bird Flu) strain affecting poultry populations through out Southeast Asia, also blamed for deaths in 65 humans through out the region. Although the virus has not passed human to human concerns are mounting that if this virus mutates it will allow itself to be passed among humans. CNBC is reporting that BioCryst Pharmaceuticals (BCRX) may have it's drug Peramivir on the fast track to approval, and possibly to the market by April of next year.
