  • August New Home Sales also to be released this morning.
  • WellPoint (WLP) reportedly is near a cash and stock deal to buy insurer WellChoice (WC) for nearly $6.5 billion.
  • US Airways and America West to begin trading today under the symbol (LCC)
  • Biogen Idec (BIIB) and Elan Pharmaceuticals (ELN) have filed for approval of their recalled Multiple Sclerosis drug Tysabri.
  • Crude Oil is currently $65.21 per barrel.
  • Wholesale Gasoline is $2.11 a gallon.
  • Gold is also down a bit this morning to $467.00 per ounce.
