Hurricane Katrina

Now a category 5 hurricane with sustained winds of 175 miles per hour expected to reach New Orleans area within the next 24 hours. Forcasters are calling for a storm surge of 20 feet or more in an area which is mostly below sea level. President Bush has already declared Louisiana, and Mississippi disaster areas to speed up help for these states. This could be the worst storm to hit the states since hurricane Camille back in 1969.
