  • Futures are up pointing to a higher open this am.
  • Average price for all grades of gasoline reaches record high of $2.33 per gallon.
  • Nike (NKE) to begin using Kobe Bryant in it's ad campaign, Nike has not used his image since his arrest nearly 2 years ago.
  • Hurricane Dennis has made it's way ashore in the Florida Panhandle, reports are out that Dennis did not have a major impact on oil platforms in the Gulf of Mexico.
  • Pilgrims Pride (PPC) raises guidance for 3rd quarter to $1.17 to $1.22 per share previous estimates called for .81 cents to $1.00 per share.
  • United Airlines calls back nearly 600 flight attendants with plans to call back more this fall.
  • Morgan Stanley's Co-President Stephen Crawford to resign as early as today.
  • Crude oil is down currently $58.50 per barrel.
  • Gold currently just over $425.00 per ounce.
