Morning News

  • Futures are down pointing to a lower open.
  • General Motors (GM) making news again this morning the company plans to slash the price on some of it's '2006 models in the range of $1500.00 - $2000.00 per vehicle.
  • Lennar Corp (LEN) The Homebuilder quarterly profits up also raising it's '2005 earnings outlook.
  • Sirius Satellite Radio (SIRI) reaches deal with Radio 1 top BBC station to broadcast here in the States.
  • Maytag (MYG) recieves two more bids which are both about 15% above it's current deal with Ripplewood Holdings. The deal with Ripplewood worth 2.1 billion dollars.
  • Crude Oil: Down a bit from yesterday's highs but still holding right at the $59.00 per barrel mark.
  • Gold: Has also pulled back currently $436.30 per ounce.
