Morning News

  • Futures are down pointing to a lower open.
  • $4.6 billion dollar contract for Boeing (BA) From Qatar Airways orders.
  • Mad Cow disease reported here in the States has not been confirmed at this point but should be followed.
  • Affiliated Computer Services (ACS) wins a 7 year 610 million dollar contract with Walt Disney.
  • Morgan Stanley to fire CEO Purcell will remain in place until replacement is found.
  • Oil is trading at $ 53.37 per barrel. Reports are out that tropical storm Arlene had no affect on production in the Gulf of Mexico.
  • Gold trading just over $428.00 per ounce.
